About Me
WEB & GRAPHIC EXPERT
My name is Topher. I live in sunny Southern California where coffee shops are in surplus, which is great for me and what I do since I love coffee and I love to work in coffee shops as a web and graphic designer. By day I am a graphic designer and by night I am also a graphic designer, but with a lot of coffee. While I haven’t been able to travel very often in the past few years, I feel most at home in places where I have never been before.
A few years ago I was really humbled by something that I was destined to go through. Being humbled like that has made me more grateful for every blessing that I am given every day. So many people come to take for granted the blessings that we are given on a daily basis, like being able to go grab a cup of coffee at a local coffee shop at whatever time we like or even being able to get irritated at the long line at said coffee shop at 7:30 in the morning.
Being able to work from anywhere easily has been a definite blessing in these past few years. I don’t have to worry about the daily commute to work that many have to do, unless of course I choose to do my work from a coffee shop nearby. This type of field has also given me the ability to be more available to the ones I love whenever I am needed. Working as a web designer has been a blessing for so long and I am thankful that I am able to build on what I already know with coding.
Through learning coding programs like Ruby, HTML, CSS, JAVASCRIPT, and REACT I am really hoping to be able to create more elaborate and amazing works of art, beyond just making a website. With this knowledge that I am going to be able to acquire at Flatiron School I will be able to make these beautiful websites, apps, and other programs that will be able to work together to make the experience of using these services far easier for consumers.
